This is an outstanding image in all respects, Hal! Great lighting, head angle, blurred bg, ethereal effects on the leaves on the left......whew! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Wow, beautiful image! Tough to get this close and at eye level, especially at 200mm. Awesome detail and perfect comp. :jump:

I am amazed! 200mm! I can't get this close to this species. I see and hear them lots but way out there. Great shot Hal.

There are some images that just make you stop and say Wow!! This is one. Exquisite light, nearly perfect background and perch and the pose doesn't get much better. Needless to say I like this very much.

Beautiful pose and I really like the inclusion of the leaves. Did you use noise removal on the bird? How much of a crop is this? I ask because some feathers seem to be very smooth. The look of the image is really nice, but I'm always curious about the technical/processing side.

Really super. The FG and BG are as superb as the bird.
