Female Hoodie & chicks

Female Hooded Merganser with her chicks swimming in the small manmade pond at the golf course in Ile Bizard, Quebec. She is currently sharing this pond with 2 Canada Geese families. All the while we were taking the photos, I couldn't believe how many golfers were sinking their balls into the pond. I had to hold back the urge to tell them it's time to hang up the clubs and go do crossword puzzles!!
