Taken at Cape Horn in the Columbia Gorge. Canon 5D, 17-40, 4.0L. Iso 400, 0.6sec, f22. Added a little Orton/glow effect, mostly to the background.

I like this, nice job controlling the sunstar. I think most of the interest lies on the right side of the frame, I would consider cropping much of the left side, a 2:3 vertical works well on the right. That tree on the far left along with the fern underneath splits the composition, imo. Nice job handling the exposure though.

I like this lush and colorful scene, although I might prefer the scene to be just a touch brighter. Well done, Daniel.

What a lovely scene Daniel! As Benjamin notes, that right side is especially strong. I have yet to figure out a way to process Larkspur to my satisfaction. They always seem to block up on me.

I love the sun star and I love especially the right side. I would also consider cropping some of the left side. but it's a great work

Daniel,
Oh, what a glorious scene to have been a part of - wish I was there! You know the sun star didn't immediately catch my attention, so I think that it makes for a complimentary addition and not an overpowering distraction. My only real nit is the intensity of the larkspur. I can't say what is was like in person and there's always the personal preferences with these things, but I think either the hue or saturation could be eased off a little. Again, personal choice. But just a tranquil and peaceful scene.

Love it Dan, the color of the flowers against the greens, and of course the sun bursting thru. Superb.
