Very nice, I like the vegitation around the bird, frames it nicely. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, nice color combination. The exposure seems maybe a bit dark, easily adjusted though. With the elongated upright bird and cherries drooping vertically below I wonder if a vertical might also work here. Fresh cherry pie with ice cream is over rated imho......yeah right.

Nice one! I agree with Gary that it seems a bit dark, and I think that a horizontal crop would be interesting to see. Also, it seems as though there is an extra catchlight for some reason, as if you were using a flash. I might clone that out.

Lovely colors, Doug. If it were mine, I'd brighten it a bit, or maybe selectively brighten the bird. I think the idea of a vertical comp is worth a try, too.

Neat setting, the cherries are great. Agree, I'd brighten it a tad.

A bird like this can have my pie filling any time. Nice shot, Douglas. Good choice on the dof. :toast:

Nice color combination! I like the suggestions already received about brightening the bird just a bit but I also like the darkish BG and the uplifted head.
