Although the male gets most of the attention, I often think the female RWBB is very pretty.
D90, 300f4, f9, 1/400, iso 250, natural light
Backyard blind, setup perch.
Please consider commenting on the overall lightness and darkness, as my monitor is uncalibrated.
Thanks for looking, all comments appreciated.

This is crisp and clean and a fine example of subtle beauty. Pleasing diagonal comp. Brightness looks fine on my end!

Dan, The overall brightness level seems perfectly fine. Nice job pulling out the detail here and the BG color compliments her nicely.

Dan, Beautiful sharp details and exposure. Color toning and lighting look fine. The BG is lovely. I might consider cropping down to eliminate the cut off look of the perch if it were mine. One of the best female RWBB images I've seen in awhile!

Dan,

The pose, the sharpness, the details and colors are all excellent.

Isn't this a first summer male because it has orange coverts though rather than a female which does not?
