Tulip Variations

Nikon D300, Sigma 150. F/10, 2sec, ISO 320.

This was taken from the side of one of my tulips, the first blooms in my garden. I like the interesting texture and vibrant tones which resemble stone. Do you find the texture interesting? Comments appreciated.

Albert, Quite superb. Well seen and executed. The lines and textures are lovely. A square crop removing some from the right also makes for a very nice photo in my eyes.

Excellent work, here :toast:

Nice designs Albert and to find them in your garden is a real plus. I like to see it just a bit more sharpened. Nice work.

Love the lines and the textures Albert. I always have trouble with abstracts but I like this image.

Albert: I do indeed like the textures, there is almost a wood grain feel to this. Well seen and captured. >=))>

A great range of colors and beautiful abstract. Agree with Ram's suggestion on a crop

I really like the texture of the petals, and the two toned color is very nice too. It makes me think of velvet.
