I shot this same scene over the winter, with that beautiful old building as the highlight. Thought it was time to get a springtime shot, even though it was a pretty overcast day out. D-60, squared off a bit, shot at ISO-100, 1/13th second, f-4.5, 26mm. Thanks for looking and any C&C, larger posted too!

Great composition Bill. Nice DOF for F/4.5, I like this image alot. It seems a tad soft to me, however most of my images are soft out of the camera and need a little boost in sharpening. Well done.

Thanks John for your comment. I was shooting in SP mode at different speeds, and it automatically sets the f-stop. This combination seemed to work the best on my initial look through. Yeah, I didn't PS it or anything, just a tad of contrast and sharpening. :toast:

Lovely scene Bill with good vibrant colours.. The larger one looks quite a bit better. I suspect some work on your web sharpening for the smaller image will give you better looking images.

A nice scene Bill, the greens of the trees play nicely against the weathered wood of the mill. While the overcast sky helped with the saturation of the greens the brightness of the small patch of sky pulls my eye a bit. I can see why you would return to this spot over and over ... very nice.
