Summer Snowflake

A few weeks ago, on a nice, warm, sunny day I was walking in a local park and came across these beautiful Summer Snowflakes. I loved to see the sun shining through the flowers petals.
At the moment we are having a lot of cold and rainy days. I cannot wait for the sun to return!

Great grouping of this very photogenic bunch, Ellen

- lighting looks great too. I like the inclusion of one in full bloom, one partial and one bud - very cool. You may want to dodge the upper left corner a little bit, but its a very minor thing.

Ellen ..this is a wonderful image ..and I like the horizontal comp here and the BG compliments well here ..I would have probable had one wee bit lesser zoom, and that would have placed the flowers one bit higher. Thats a personal choice..

Very nice light and grouping Ellen, yup, same here, rain and cool temps, even got frost this morning. Nicely seen and presented.

This is perfect in every way. I love the presentation, comp, color and detail, but the handling of the whites is spot on, indeed. Great job, Ellen.

Ellen- beautiful little flower and nice colors and comp.
the dark areas on the left are a bit distracting, to me.

In a word - gorgeous! I love the soft light and the delicate snowflake, Ellen. My only suggestion; and this is just a personal preference; would be to clone out the dark ULC.

What a beautiful grouping Ellen, I particularly like the composition which allows space in front of the flowers and the bloom progression. Cold and rain is the norm here these days as well.
