Another look at the new Havasu Falls. This was taken last November just before sunset.

I included the large if you are interested in viewing.

Thanks very much.

Looks like a marscape these days. It is so close to where I live I really need to get here soon! Nice shot. :toast:

Really nice image, well exposed and good composition. Good detail as well.

A few issues: your horizon is off slightly (see the level of the water in the background), also the greens look weird, I think over saturated a bit. With a few minor adjustments, this is be outstanding.

Thanks everyone! Enclosed is the repost with the following corrections:

1) horizion adjustment - thanks Gary- I would have never caught that one
2) overall image desaturation by 5 %
3) additional desaturation in the greens, cyan, and magenta channels

Hopefully this will work better

Michael an absolutely lovely image. The aforementioned critiques and your corrections only heightened the pic.

The repost looks great Michael, what a great scene and well balances comp. Hope to get there someday myself. Nice all around image.

Very nice Michael, love that comp, I don't find the fg rock distracting at all, and I like the fg falls too. I like the repost a little better, but think something with color saturation between those two would be perfect IMO. Nice capture.

I really like the foreground here. In fact, I think I like it better than the falls. The colors and textures in the near rocks have a lot of interest.

I like the comp and overall a very nice image. The greens in the water remind me of glacial runoff. There still appears to be a little ccw rotation.

Beautiful Image! I like the repost a little better but would be interested to see what something between the two looked like.

Even with the desat, the colors are stunning. Excellent comp, light, and the textures are fantastic.

Real nice colors and the objects are dynamic. Those big huge red rocks add great interest to the image. A beauty. Repost looks great.
