nice pose and setting, Charlie, and good job controlling those reds. cool that you got him with an insect. I might take some off the right hand side of this.

How do you keep doing it Charlie? Nice loose shot and way to keep those reds under control

The thumb looked a bit humdrum, bird quite small in the frame, had to wonder what Charlie was up to?!? Opened the image and it became obvious, especially the larger view, amazing detail, background and the dried goldenrod (?) add immensely. The little red bird ain't bad either. :toast: :toast:

A great comp Charlie. I love the vege and the BG and then the great burst of color from the bird. Another super shot.

Your comp is just perfect for my tastes Charlie, esp given the beautiful seed heads in the setting. Perfect pose from the flycatcher for this composition too. And a nice background to top it all off. Reds look great.

Charlie,

I enjoy the size of the flycatcher in the comp, the delicacy of the seed heads, the colors, details and sharpness. Thanks for providing the larger version, it makes savoring the details more delightful. Beautiful image as presented.
