Another spot along McCord Creek in the Columbia Gorge. Canon 5D, 17-40L at 32mm, Polarizer, 3 shot pano, iso 200, f16, 0.7sec.
Check out the larger, since this sinks or swims on the detail.

Daniel,

This rocks! :toast:

Having said that... I think I might be tempted to turn the yellows hue (in ACR) a touch toward green (very very slightly) and also I think a tad of a luminosity glow might send this over the top. I have a new monitor here so I might be off on the idea.

Having said that...

Without the suggestions here the image still rocks! :toast:

I like how much you packed into this frame with the water as the focus. The variety of greens in the trees only heightens the interest.

This is beautiful Daniel. Love the composition with the stream front and center but with the nice curve, and the incredible forest green and elements all together makes for a superb forest image. Exquisite work.

Very pleasing shot! I can't wait to do more week after next myself - merely got a small taste this last weekend.. I really like the tall plants in the middle left.. they look pretty cool!

I really like this comp and the glowing greens. I might be tempted to do something to make the main trunks stand out a little more - they are critical in separating all those greens. Really nice shot though - pulls me right into that forest!

Very well done, Daniel. The huge amount of green is wonderful and the fern in the LRC is a nice extra.

Wonderful work Daniel. Strong composition and lines and the water looks great. If it were mine, I consider cloning out the mossy rock in the LLC. Very well done!

Just an outstanding comp! Needs a little contrast maybe and as Mark said, a touch more luminosity and this will be fantastic.

I haven't been in an area like this since I left northern Cal. many years ago. This is really nice and I love the greens. Great comp too and the fern on the rock is perfect.
