Ranunculus #3

Will you look at that colour. This is exactly like the colour in the actual bloom. No increase in vibrancy/saturation. This series of ranunculus came from the same shipment I picked up from my florist. I'm really lucky with these. The variation of bloom and colours in the blooms run the full spectrum.
Thanks for looking and all your comments/critiques.

Absolutely gorgeous. Excellent lighting, unbelievable color, and the dark background really makes the flower stand out. :toast:

Beautiful color, light and detail Bob, as Morris said, really stands out against the black BG.

The photographs I've seen don't look like luck to me. You nailed this one too with a perfect exposure and dof. Stunning :toast: :toast:

Beautiful capture!
Great light, colors, comp, and the black BG is perfect to set off the colors.

Not quite the detail as the others, but the comp and depth give it more personality and rival any I've seen. The curve of the stem and the position you chose are top notch. :wavey:

Nice work here, Bob. Love the super details on the petals and the curved stem. I also like the fact that you avoided the corner for entry for the stem  . If you has not mentioned Ranunculus, I'd have assumed this would be a Poppy !!
