Last of the Peony

Tree Peony is done. A glorious 3 weeks with over 100 blossoms on our one bush. Tried to eek something out of the spent blooms. I grabbed the better pair and did some indoor shooting over the white board. Converted to b/w. Some noise reduction and softer sharpening to get a creamy texture.

Zeiss 35mm, Nikon D300...around a 1/50th, f16

The oldest of my tree peonies started blooming a day or two ago, and that has seven flowers (and I thought that was a lot). 100 blooms!!! Good subject for conversion to black & white. Well done. :toast:

This is outstanding, Ken. Excellent B&W conversion and the processing to give it a softer look is first rate. :toast:
BTW, I posted a pic of the tulip so you could see the area of my macro shot, if you wanted to check back in.
