Heavy fog roll through a valley in the Smokies. Cloaked in fog trees reveal and hide their majesty.

Thanks for commenting and looking

Excellent flow Anthony. I like the sharp and dark lrc to bright and foggy ulc. The tree anchors it all together. Nice!

Love the comp here Anthony, and the atmosphere you've capture. I wouldn't mind having it a tad brighter overall, but that could just be this monitor at work.
Nice capture.

Ditto on both John and Kevin's comments. A touch brighter maybe, but like the comp, mystery, and mood.

Great mood you captured here, Anthony. I like the darker presentation. I think it fits the scene very well.

Thanks everyone
Had some suggestions to touch up the brightness a bit. It was heavily overcast and actually raining during this shot. Some light filtered through but much of it is how I remember it. I kind of liked the mood of this one. The b+w aren't heavily popular here so thanks for looking.

I find that the dark tree creates a nice rule-of-thirds focal point and the textures of the fog are quite interesting. While it's probably just my personal preference, a scroll crop of some of the white from the top seems to help.

I like the misty and moody feel in this image, Anthony. I think your comp is excellent as it usually is. The larger image is interesting and nice to look at.

Photo is totally cool, although the water drops are a bit annoying. Id avoid fancy fonts too

Fantastic mood here, agree that a slight crop of the white on top might improve the image but I like it a lot as is!

yep! I really recognize you´re work by the thumbs, Anthony. this is very moody and I love moody atmospheres. light looks nice here. sometimes, in b&w, bringing some light means loosing the mood but who am I to speak about b&w processing. if I had to give a little pump of light here it would be on the lower tree, not that it looks ok but just to create some more tension between fg and top sky, the dark/anchor tree might apreciate that.. ! ditto on you´re comment about the b&w popularity..!!! nice work!
