This poor chap must be developing a complex with everyone calling him ugly!

The answer to your question is... YES. But, a wonderful subject. Is this considered a "bonnie" as well??

Interesting, Ian. I thought he was cute (my wife was with the majority). Nice pose and excellent detail. I look forward to more of this series as it develops. :toast:

Not ugly at all! I like the shot and the detail and clarity! I am glad I looked at the larger photo, because the detail jumps out at you.

I face the same question every morning. Great detail in the downy feathers, and I like that grip he's got on that branch :toast:

The extended talon looks like it's being offered like he'd like to shake your hand, that's what makes this photo for me Ian, very comical. :toast:

Great detail and a pose that really draws our interest, Ian. I don't consider him ugly: just loaded with character. He reminds me of a card dealer I met once. :toast:

I'm glad you posted the large version, it really shows him off in all his resplendent glory. Great job Ian.

Ian, I'm a huge fan of your work and this one is special. It has a very sweet soft look to it. Well done.

So ugly he's cute! Poor little guy. Another real winner Ian. Love the detail in this. I extended claw is what puts this over the top for me Ian. You captured a unique oment. Just wonderful! :toast:
