Just a simple scene I spotted on a bike ride the other day. This is a type of processing I don't normally do. Converted to black and white and then pushed the contrast to the point that the background turned white, then cloned out a few random blobs in the water.

Handheld, 17-85 lens @ 85, IS
ISO 800, f4

Very strong, graphic image, and admirable foresight to notice and capture it.

Extremely interesting photograph. I do not see the reference to "Leif" but the title adds to the interest. A good one!

Great eye to pick this up. You have another shot here as well. Crop just the left branch and rotate it vertical and you have a heart! An excellent graphic shot.

NICE! Way to watch for the unexpected shot! Really like the strong, bold theme around the relatively tender thematic impression. Could very easy make a romantic gift or a "happy new baby" gift to a new parent.

Thank you all for the comments! This is a learning experience for me - when I processed this image I kind of thought of it almost as a 'throw away', yet it has generated the most comments of any shot I have posted. Goes to show that a photographers individual tastes are not necessarily in tune with that of the general community. Makes me think I may have to seek out more of these types of intimate scenes...
