High Key Bud

First post in Flora (I think?). I am exploring high key images in camera with as much DOF as I can get! The effect is all in camera with very little post processing.
Canon 1D Mark 3 with the Sigma 180mm macro at ISO 800 and f20 for 1/60 sec. hand held with the MT 24 twin lights at +1&2/3 manually focused. BG is a pale sky.

Beautifully done. Lots of great detail in the bud, and the high key background is very effective for bringing attention to the subject. :toast:

Love the details and colors! This is a prize! The clarity of each area....from fine hairs to stamens...and red/green thing-ees. Well done!

Superb shot! I love the detail you captured. The colors almost make it look like a watercolor painting.

Amazing detail. The high key presentation works wonderfully. The flower is a bit past its prime giving the center prime attention. Well done! :toast:

Fantastic DOF and detail with the flash and f/20. Ballance with the sky worked great. Getting a peek inside at the pistils is a nice concept.
