Another awesome day at Galorland Rookery. Love to watch these guys seeking and finding home materials and bringing them back to their mate for building. Got a few good flyers , this is one of my faves.

Cheryl this one is very nice indeed!! The twig is a real plus. I was wondering what it would look like without the palm tree on the right? Just thinking out loud  . But, great as presented.

This is a beautiful image. The twigs do add a lot, as Angela said. The large version is really gorgeous!

Nice job catching the bird almost completely against the sky Cheryl - perfect timing. I think it would have looked good against the dark greens too but half and half, not so good IMO. I also like the nesting material. I think you've done a fine job here.

Cool, Cheryl. Great flight pose and sharpness, the stick adds interest, and I like the framing by the background trees. A beauty.

Wow, sharp and perfectly exposed white bird against a tricky sky, I know your camera wasn't on "auto" for this! The stick art in the beak is a nice bonus focal point. He's nicely framed by the foliage.

really nice, Cheryl. It's a very graceful pose and the stick is a nice touch. as others have said, the bird is well placed in the frame and the exposure looks great. :toast:

Nice flight shot of this CE Cheryl. I wish we ahd these guys in Colorado. I imagine the whites make them fun to expose (much like snowy's), so very nice job with the whites. Sharpness is wonderful as well!

Surprisingly the bird really shows up well against the clear sky. Your exposure was excellent to bring out such fine detail throughout the bird. The image looks very natural, I like it a lot. Graham
