Green Hermit

I spent 2 weeks in Costa Rica in mid April. I'll be sharing some of the images I liked from the trip. I'll start with this one. This is a male Green Hermit. Multi-flash setup with 3 flashes on the bird, and one on the background.

70-200 f/4 L @ 223mm
ISO 320
f/16
1/200 (not relevant as this was done with high speed flash)

You times this perfectly with the wings stretched all the way out... the lines that are drawn from the bill to the wingtip to the tail are just phenomenal.
