Crocus Color Ballet

Gallery: 10 Years of NPNPosted April 29, 20102,138 views7 comments

This would be one of my all time favorites of my NPN posts since I joined in 2006. In camera motion blur and some nice afternoon light created this dance of crocus blossoms.

D200, 105/2.8 macro; f 36, 1/10, +0.33 EV, ISO 200. Panned.

I can't say enough about how much instruction and encouragement and camaraderie I enjoy here at NPN. Thanks to each and every one of you and to Jim and Donna for a wonderful experience.

Great, Catherine. Colours and the implied motion plays magic on the eyes

Catherine: This is so thoroughly cool. Great concept and even better execution.

Great to see this beauty posted in the "10 years" permanent gallery.
Your knack with flowers, and especially the crocuses, is exceptional.
Cheers!
