Together in a Dream (A Dedication)

I thought about images I've submitted that were fairly well received but I couldn't decide on one of them. I had decided I wanted to put something of myself into this forum - something that would still have meaning for me later on. I've gone with a previously unposted image and I hope it meets the high standard set here by so many talented NPN photographers.

When I'm out there I'm usually looking for a composition that resonates with something inside me. The results cover a wide range - anything from just a pretty picture to a select few that are something more and will stay with me for many years. This is one of the latter although it may seem an unremarkable scene to anyone but me and the ones it is dedicated to: my wife and step-daughter. I don't want to get into a lot of personal stuff but I spend a tremendous amount of time apart from them and the image represents my wish that we can someday be together all the time.

The occurrence of the 3 wisps of cloud high above was simple luck and I had to adjust from a different setup in time to capture it. Simple elements and not overtly dramatic yet still deeply meaningful to me.

My participation at NPN, although sporadic at times, has been a greatly rewarding experience of give and take and I trust it will continue and only become better. Best wishes to everyone involved in this great community.
