Corn Bunting

Corn Bunting, this is a first for me as I've never photographed this species before. This is such a smart little bird that makes a wonderful noise when in full song, thanks for looking.

A big thanks goes out to my mate and fellow NPN member Steve Race for the loan of his camera and lense, I only had the 300mm with me at the time so without Steve's help I wouldn't have captured this image.

Sweet little bird Andy, Love how the clean background makes the bird pop. The perch is interesting also. Well done.

Isn't it nice to have friends who are willing to loan you equipment.

Beautiful singing pose, Andy. I like the barbed-wire perch in this case. To me it evokes the entire environment.

That little bird is one exhuberant singer Andy - I love the enthusiasm. I like your composition and the rusty perch. I almost didn't mention this because it's so very minor (and certainly not a nit) but if it were mine I'd get that wire exactly level. It could use a very slight CCW rotation. Not much but enough that I noticed it.
