Luxuriance

Nikon D300, Nikkor 70-200 2.8 @95mm. F/14, 1/10, ISO 200.

I find the title "luxuriance" defines the scene very well. With the lush green tones and lively lines predominating. Comments appreciated.

I like the things you mentioned: the great lines and green tones. Nice lighting as well. Did you use a reflector?

What great texture. I love the lush green color. I would not change a thing.

Albert, another masterful presentation. I am enjoying the posts in your series. My eyes enjoy wandering here and there throughout your image. :toast:

Really good lighting on the plant gives such a pleasing glow and really highlights all the lines. I find it difficult to photograph this plant, though I keep trying; so I appreciate this comp very much and am enjoying looking at.

I agree, the title defines the scene quite well. It's a very enjoyable image and my eyes have a good time wandering through it. I'll offer the same small critique as I did of your last image in this series: it seems a bit warm to me. That's a very minor nit though and largely a matter of personal opinion.

Great lines and lovely exposure, Albert.

This subject is so cooperative.

I've forgotten, Albert. Do you have a CU diopter? Zeroing in on the veins in a leaf might make a great shot.

This is the best one yet, Albert. The light here is simply sublime and all those radiating lines take me around the image. Beautifully done.

Very nice image, Albert. I find my eye wanders around the image a bit, then settles on that one leaf in the center  Lots of great detail to look at.

Perfect title Albert and the image is superb. Christopher Burkett did an image that he entitled Green Veratrum that became very popular in the last century. I don't think it had anything on this. In fact I think I prefer your lighting.
