Defending waterhole

I just realised that this wonderful gallry has no Tiger picture, so I decided to post one of my all time favourites, taken more than 13 years ago.
This is Charger, one of the most aggresive male Tiger of his time, who was notorious for charging at jeeps n riding elephants, thus appropriately named Charger. He was peacefully drinking water at the waterhole, suddenly the riding Elephant, I was siting on, could not resist the temptation of having some green grass. This infuriated the Tiger, who charged and the riding Elephant trembled like anything. Out of 10 frames I took, only this was sharp.
Thankyou so much for your kind attention n views!
Canon film camera and 70-200mm lens.

Nice shot Jagdeep, looks and sounds to me like your fortunate to still be around to tell about it.

WOW Jagdeep!
Thats one PO'd cat. Very nice capture. I'm sure the elephant wasn't the only one with an increased heart rate.
well done.

Jagdeep, I've been waiting for one of your amazing wildlife images to show up in this gallery. Your body of work is absolutely top notch. I thoroughly enjoy being able to see India through your camera and also greatly appreciate the explanations you always provide with your images. I look forward to many more :toast:

Man, if this thing charged the elephant I was riding on I would wet my pants!! Even the image is intimidating. Very nice.
