The Peanut Slides

This is a follow up to my previous "Slides" post, showing some more of the LHS (one more to follow). This beautiful spot in NE PA (named for its winding shhape) was a popular place for cooling off in the 1920s and 30s, then later in the 60s and 70s. Now, most people have forgotten it's even there. It is quite dangerous to get around, especially the lower you go on this long, steep decline.

Shot a few days ago, about two hours after sunrise. D-60 at ISO-100, 1/3 sec., f-22 at 22mm. Please view the larger image for a better shot, and any C&C is certainly welcomed.

Looks like a very interesting area Bill. I liked the previous post better, but this photo gives a good look at the overall area.

It's in Northeast PA Michael. It really is a beautiful place. There is so much to shoot and see, I feel like I'm not getting the whole picture thru. One of those places where you want to show everything at once, and end up not showing enough. Thanks!
