One Perfect Snowflake

This early spring male Mountain Bluebird has been one of my better received images. I never saw the 6-pointed snowflake through the viewfinder. It was a nice processing surprise.

Truly outstanding!!!!! The pink and white OOF background perfectly complements the bluebird.

I've got to agree with Jim, the colours are very complimentary. Lovely composed and cute shot Lon. Great stuff.

The background really is complimentary to this beautiful bird. The conditions and his posture just add to the quality.

OMG, this is fantastic, Lon!!!!! Probably the best image of a bluebird I've seen so far. The regular shaped snowflake adds even more interest to this already outstanding picture. This little guy is so nice and tender, he doesn't look like he loves the cold weather though...

This is so nice...the softness of the little fluffy bird is accentuated by the soft background color and the snowflakes. Love it. Ingrid.

Beautiful!

I had to open the larger image to find the six pointed snowflake. I thought the classic hexagonal shape of snow flakes was microscopic - didn't know you could see it with the naked eye. But then I live where it doesn't snow.
