Hi Gigi, this is great! The grain of the b/g wood...the hairs..(pubescence) on the leaves and blossom mirror it nicely....combining for a rough feel...which I like. Ken S

In addition to a great composition, the textures in this put it over you're usual high standard. It has a very distinctive three dimensional feel. Wish it were mine!

Outstanding, Giuseppe! It's very sharp, and the choice of background
is excellent.

Very nice! There's a lily that blooms just in front of a trunk in a park near my house, usually starting in a few weeks, that I've promised myself to shoot this year. I can only hope that my result is nearly as enjoyable as this.

Great background Gigi and beuatiful capture. An contrast of opposites - the smoothness of the flower versus the rough texture of the stump. Vitality versus decay. :toast:

Great definition and color Gigi. Almost looks painted and your background is a perfect foil for the flower.
