Tulips "Elite" from just around the neighborhood. I liked the quality of light and zoomed outside with camera in hand. Also, wanted to try some wide angle close-ups.

D700, 24-70 @ 58 mm; handheld; f 7.1, 1/400, ISO 400, +0.33 EV.

Browsed the first page of posts, and everybody's work looks so good. Will be back to comment. Thanks for having a look at mine...

Nicely composed. Like slanting orientation and how the focused bloom is partly obscured by OOF one. BG is pretty. Well done

Beautifully done, Catherine. I really love your POV here, along with the light and diagonal placement of the tulips. This is being real picky, but my personal preference would be to crop off the green in the URC.

I love the way the light illuminates the blooms . . . you've captured that perfectly here. I also like your decision to compose this with the stems at a diagonal. Very nicely done.
