It's been a little while since I posted. I've researched this location in the past but have waited for the conditions to hopefully be right for a trip out there. With a storm anticipated in the next few days I headed out. You can just barely see the Salton Sea. I personally don't mind seeing the gnd in the mountain range on the left?

Looks like Font's Point  This is very nice. I do wish that it were a bit brighter so that we could see more of the detail in the terrain. A nicely balanced composition IMO. :toast:

Beautiful Image, the very top of the sky seems a bit dark? could be this monitor though. Great work regardless.

Nice - I've been wanting to head out to this spot for some time, I just never make it. I think this might have benefited from exposure bracketing and some blending - its not so much the gnd line on the left as the blown highlights and darkness at the top of the sky, which is classic hard gnd effect. On the other hand you might be able to tweak the raw file to get more out of it in these areas...

Nice view and great sky. I second the idea about working on the middle of the image a little to get more definition in there.

This is something I have not seen before, and I like it a lot! I'd be inclined to ask for a little more shadow detail in the landscape areas midground. But it might just be the size here. i imagine a lot of the detail will become visible in a larger print.
