Our favourite flower

The Osteospermum is the most loved flower in our garden. It's always in bloom and always in pose, asking for photos: a top model, elegant and very photogenic. You are looking at the real colors of the flower.

D700, Nikkor 200mm. - f/22 and ISO 400 - A little bit of grain with Photoshop filter.

Always glad for your comments and suggestions.

Gigi: You are the master of the Osteospermum. Great colors and I like this stage of the flower. The little open pollen pockets are icing on a very nice cake. Superb shot.>=))>

A very striking capture Gigi that is well cropped and presented - the lighting and shading, the bold colors, beautiful. :toast:

I fully agree with your comment, Gigi!
If we compare our two images, we can see we had a completely different approach!
Your PP work is really super, but in my modest opinion, at the end produces a very sophisticate result yet almost...far from reality.

Superb, Giuseppe! The backgroun is very complementary, and the the
three gold areas give that extra added punch.
