Another great day at Ft. DeSoto last week. I loved this moment and this image especially because I got a catchlight in both eyes.

The low level of lighting adds to the "romantic" feel to this one Cheryl. ( Ok, I know someone is likely just regurgitating up a mollusk or something, but lets play make believe.) Techs look great.

THe light is very nice, as is the interaction. I wouldn't mind tis cropped a bit more with the Laughing Gulls centered.

Great shot Cheryl. I too love the interaction and the setting. Nice job on the exposure. Comp is fine with me as posted, but I might try a more vert crop to see how that looks if this were mine.

Lovely subjects, well photographed! I agree the double catchlights are a strong positive. I also really like the texture of the water at their feet, the wet rocks and legs as well as the subtle saturated blues!

Cheryl,
I like the interaction you caught in this image. As common as Laughing Gulls are in Florida, I never grew tired of seeing them and I don't get to see them here. The breeding plumage you have here is lovely. I also think the comp would look great of the birds were centered, Sweet light, catchlights and angle.

Excellent capture and exposure, Cheryl. I'd consider a slightly tighter crop. You've inspired me to post a shot of another black-hooded gull.
