I found this little beauty eating rose hips. He cleaned up every seed pod on the bush.

I like the detail that you got here. I think the background is a little distracting, especially near the tail. I would suggest giving the tail a little bit more space (if you can).

Nice detail and pose here. I'd bring him down in the frame a bit, or just add more on top and the right if possible.

Rohn, great shot of a tough bird. Nice exposure. I have to ask. What species is this? I have never heard of a rough grouse, Ruffed, yes, rough, no. Sorry, just had to rib you a bit on that one.

Nice pose, with a good view of the face, eye, and the feather patterns on his back and tail. Interesting perch with the large bird precariously balanced on the small limb.

It looks nice and sharp and well detailed. I think you framed him well also. It would be nice to see this at the 720 pixel limit.

Rohn, I like the pose on that precarious perch and the natural setting. I also like the unobstructed view of the grouse - in the few chances I've had at these birds they always seem to be buried in brush or deep in a tree.
