Fair Harbor

I found some time to explore some of the more remote marshes around the Chesapeake last fall. Here is a shot of a small harbor for the local fishing fleet near Elliot Island, Maryland. The day was very overcast and threatening, but the rain never quite materialized.

Canon 5D, 24-105mm @ 28mm, 1/4 sec, f/22, iso 400, 4 stop ND grad, gitzo tripod

Damn that is one ominous looking sky Jim. Nice comp. What do you think of bringing up the expose slightly? I'm guessing you left it dark for effect.

Sure like the mood you captured here, Jim. Love the first boat in the fleet. She looks of an age to have seen a lot of the sea and more than a few loads of fish!
