Mountain Bluebird

I found this juvenile mountain bluebird one morning a couple summers ago in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Basically a fine image. I think it could use a bit more sharpening for presentation to bring out more of the feather texture. I'd also crop a little of the empty space from the top.

Beautiful composition and natural perch. I like the head turn and the soft light. I might give another round of sharpening for web.

Thanks all, for the comments.

I agree about the sharpening. Resizing it to post made it significantly softer and I didn't bother re-sharpening it. A lesson for the future!

Slightly soft, but other than that, a very pleasing photo. I love the soft colors and the comp and setting. Your blues are so pretty. Sharon
