I became tired of carrying around my birding setup, so I grabbed my little Oly e1, and went on a little hike. I found these growing out of a log.

Olympus e1
Olympus 14-54 @ 49mm
ISO 400
f10
-1 ev
1/25th

Cloned out a couple of OOF shrooms in the bg. Normal processing in PS. Neat Image on the BG. Comments and critiques welcome. Thanks.

Mike:
Nice find. The image is a bit dark on my screen. Also the focus seems to be on the 3rd mushroom from the front rather than the foreground one (unless u intentionally wanted that effect). The highlights on the bottom mushrooms is a bit bright - did u carry a CLP with u?

Nice capture. They look delicious. I would try to selectively lighten the shadows up a bit and then take the shine off in the white areas. A little work and this would be really good.

Hey Mike, like the comp and nice details but I would clone out all the hot white spots. You can correct this in the field by placing a diffusser over top of the subjects, cutting the light from causing the highlights.,

A beautiful mushroom, and so well presented!

Maybe a little dark.
