Zoo Giraffe + fractalius + textures
I just love giraffes! Very goofy-looking critters, in a Bullwinkle sort of way.

This is fun. The Frac filter with the textures works perfectly. :toast:

I love giraffes too-but aren't they ridiculous looking creatures. Tough to get a portrait look because the sky is typically bright behind them. I like how you have overcome that.

Sandy, I love this! The frac. work looks very well done. I might lighten the image just a touch. Beautiful.

Terrific Sandy :toast: I've just got to get to the zoo...and learn that frac filter... and the textures (where do the textures come from?)...

Love the expression Sandy and the processing suits the critter perfectly. I do agree that I might brighten this a touch but I like it as posted.

Sandy, nicely done, I am not normally a fan of this type of photo art, but I do like this shot. Thanks for posting.

Sandy, I really like this portrait photo of this giraffe. He seems very pleased with himself. I like the fractalius/texture effect too.

Sandy,

This is a fun image and the fract filter really works great here. I wonder what a different background would look like? The flatness and neutral color of the background adds nothing to an otherwise fabulous take on this wonderful animal. Imagine a cityscape behind this guy or a tropical paradise or a cornfield with a beautiful blue sky. This is one of the greatest giraffe images I've seen. A different background could make this a real winner.

Congratulations on the EP Sandy. I don't know how I missed this guy the first time around, so I'm glad he and you received the acknowledgement. The expression on his face sets this above the usual portrait. :toast: :toast:
