Crossed Hearts

I caught this pair of Mourning Doves yesterday sunning themselves in a pine tree. They were quite a ways away when I took the shot but I didn't want to risk disturbing them by moving closer. I thought their crossed position and the setting made it an interesting shot. C&C welccome.

Sweet interaction, very nice. Only thing I wish for is a bit of a different head position by the front bird.

I like the way the doves are spotlighted here Clayton but they do look a bit soft to my eye.

I'm not sure how much more cropping this photo would take well but if it's not cropped much already I think I would crop in closer on the left and the top. Nice interaction you captured. :toast:

Thanks everyone. I tried cropping it a little more Nate, but as Ron said it's already a little soft and I felt the image wasn't standing up to a tighter crop. I am guessing I was about 75ft away when I shot it.
