I am so excited to share with you that this image just got featured in this spring edition of Nature Photographer magazine. It's on of my favorite nature magazines and I am so honored to be in it. This photo as well as another artist's photo were used in another writer's story. Now I need to work on writing an article.
Shot last spring at a local roosting area
Canon 40D 2.8 300 mm L lens with 2x converter
ISO 320 f5.6 @ 1/500

Wow! a huge congrats from up north! this is a gorgeous photo. Love the warm tones in the background. Great eye contact and excellent details. I'll have to go check out Nature Photographer magazine to see this in print. Very Well done.

I can understand why they chose it, very nice!!! The background is pretty exciting. The feathers on the head remind me of that '80's do the ladies wore, Cindy Lauper popularized it I think....
