The original shot is of pipe vine swallowtails "puddling" in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. I mirrored the image then used the distort filter to add a bunch of pin-cushion distortion.

Nice abstract. I like the symmetry and the colors. It almost reminds of looking through a kaleidoscope.

Fun! My first impression was the same as Barb's. It reminds me of a kaleidoscope image. Would have loved to have seen a larger image...
