This is A+ in my opinion Charles. The close-up of this colorful thistle shows it's soft colorful purple flower contrasting against it's sharp unforgiving prickly spines. Add in a tiny delicate yellow spider for the viewer to focus on and it really gets one thinking about the deversity of life. I think I've made this comment to you before, but if not I'll say it again: I really enjoy your view of nature and the way you capture it in a photograph. You seem to be able to see the beauty and magic in life regardless of how unpopular the subject may be, that was exactly the way my father raised me to view nature. One last thing, Do you know the only difference between a flower and a weed?? Location. Great job.

Very nice shot. Strong diagonal composition, nice colours and perfect details.

I think the only difference between a flower and a weed is the eye of the beholder. But I'm sure real estate prices have some effect.

Thank you John, I don't know what to say.
