Kayakers at Acadia NP

I was taking pictures at this lake at Acadia National Park, Maine when these two ladies came into the frame. I have a picture without them, but this one adds interest. I have this picture blown up to a 24 x 36 on a tile mural which we make in my business (oscarsawards.com)
It looks great. Taken with Canon XTi lens used 17-55

I'm jealous, I love kayaking and it looks like these two ladies have the place to themselves. I agree, I think the two kayaks add interest to the scenery.

This is beautiful and it looks like there is a lot of potential at this location. I'm thinking sunrises & sunsets and possibly a calm day where a nice reflection could be had.

This image has a nice balance to it, thanks to the brightly colored kayaks. I think the rocks on the right are a nice foreground element, so you could afford to crop just below them. That would keep the water line from being so vertically centered and improve the comp. That's a minor tweak to an already great image. :toast:

This looks very familair to me Ken, my brother lives in Bar Harbor and I have been kayaking with him on these lakes in Acadia last year. Thanks for bring back great memories  Good photo, I agree that without the kayakers it would probably not be strong enough in this light to 'stand alone'.

PS: If that would have been a picture of me and my bro i would have ordered a big print from you
