Birth of Spring + Repost
by Catherine Reilly
A Crocus bud nestled in foliage underneath the sunny flower forms of those already bloomed spoke to me of birth-- that moment between safety inside its "womb" and the hearty, yet fragile, first appearance of itself, soon to be a bloom and join the glowing canopy.

The oof areas really set off the one perfect bud in focus.

For those, who have suggested a crop off the top: about like this, do you mean?

The colors are magnificent and I like your idea of using the background of stems and OOF petals for the bud.
Nice job.

Beautiful visual and phylosophical observation. It's interesting that the OOF elements, even though some partially obscure the in-focus subject, help focus attention on it. Congrats on the EP.
