Photo taken at Mt. Edith Cavell Glacier in Jasper National Park. I tried out an odd angle for this glacier shot, shooting upwards to incorporate the blue sky with clouds.

I like the idea a lot, and it almost works for me--but (not that you had any control over it) the dirty ice kind of clashes with the overall symbolism of purity (backlit white clouds against a pure blue sky, it would be perfect if the ice could reflect that same purity) Its still a 'cool' shot!

Wow, how the clouds emerge from the ice amazing blues is great. Really excellent!

I like the consistency in the hue of the blues throughout the photo. As far as the composition, I feel like the arc of clouds is begging to be more centered/symmetrical, but now both Stan and I are picking at things that were probably outside your control.

Cool perspective! I actually sort of like the dirty ice.

Jonathan, nice choice of balance between the luminosities of the foreground and sky. The colors make it a very heavenly scene.
