I have been lurking here on NPN for more than three years and yesterday I finally decided to register! This is my first post.

I am slowly learning Photoshop CS4 and any suggestions on post processing would be highly valued.

Taken the beginning of February at sunset on the west coast of Hawaii's Big Island.

Over sharpened?
All c&c welcome.

Beautiful image, love those blues. Sharpening seems about right to be on this monitor.

Welcome aboard! Sharpening looks really good and the scene is very nice, light and sky are great. I think I'd suggest either less foreground, crop up to just below the first rock in the water on the left for a pano or crop from the right for more of a squarish comp. Can't wait to see more! :toast:

Good first post. Very moody scene. I love the blurred waves and the feeling of motion and power that comes through.

looks good. lots of details in the dark volcanic rock, which can be hard to achieve.
