From Colorado in December. I love these Finches! Photographed at a feeder setup.

1/320 sec at f/7.1, ISO 800

Thanks for looking!

The best rosy finch photo I've ever seen! The perch and the snow put it over the top, along with that great head turn. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Wonderful setting , head turn and a gorgeous finch Alex. I'd be very happy with this. A touch more room all around would be great if possible ? :toast: :toast:

Excellent - the falling snow really adds to the overall image.

Any shots with a touch more room?

I love Rosy Finches, too! A great photo to show it off! I've only seen the Grey-crowned species.

Very pleasing setting. The snow filled needles add a great touch of texture to the soft pastels of the bird.

Now that is a good feeder setup! The bird, falling snow, & perch all work perfectly together. My only wish is for a bit more space around the bird. Is this full frame?

Looks like a Christmas card! I really like it but would prefer a tad more room top and bottom, just a tad :toast:

This is awesome Alex. The lighting is superb displaying all of the subtle browns and rose colors in this Finch. The background and the snow take this over the top.

Really like this Alex - great detail and perch. I'd possibly be tempted to give it just a little more above and below.

cheers

Love the falling snow in this image and the finch's pose. The snow covered branch is delightful too. I would like to see more room around the finch, especially the top, bottom and right side of the frame.
