I wanted to show the beauty and simplicity of nature by choosing a relatively uninteresting subject, a dandelion.

Admittedly a very often seen subject, but well composed. The colors are quite strong which give the shot an almost painterly feel - so it works.

Cool! Terrific angle and that inner glow is just marvelous! I would have preferred it without the two blades crossing in front, i find them somewhat distracting and the rhs one divides the shot a bit. Neat subject.

Really like the way the dandelion picked up the sunset glow, Johnathan. The grass blades cutting through the frame do lessen the impact of the main subject, but still a very nice capture.

Neat way to play with the elements. I really like the glow the sun imparts to the dandelion fluff.
