Winter Wisps (w/ repost)

On a mostly frozen stream, the water still remaining winds through the ice that has formed. The wisps of snow blowing in the strong wind across the ice also caught my eye. There were nice patterns along the ice and water that I also liked. Any C&C welcomed, shot in a very windy morning at ISO-80, 1/1000th and f-4.5. Thanks for looking!

Bill, my kind of photo - superb abstract with muted colours. i might be inclined to lighten the lower left slightly as it draws my eye away when i don't think it should.

Very nice abstract Bill. Something a little different than your waterfalls. Very nice indeed.

Crop a bit from the top, Bill, and you have one awesome abstract. I think this is your best picture ever.

Thanks Tony. :toast: Just above the top of the blue, leaving a bit of white I think?? Appreciate the comment and advice.

Very interesting abstract. I see a nice flow in the lower half of the image which becomes a little chaotic in the upper one. I might crop the image at about the middle and focus on the lower half.

Very abstract, and very cool Bill, I really like this. The top half is not nearly as interesting as the bottom half IMO, so I would take a 4x5 horizontal crop of the bottom. I think it could use a little dose of web sharpening too.

Cropped top down, very slightly from right, and sharpened just a bit.
