Not bad. My garden has 2 feet of snow. I like this comp and the shallow dof lends itself well to the soft pastel color of the tulip :toast:

Wonderful shot Sandy. It almost has a sensual feelling to it.

Nice light and soft texture. Like Jamie, I would have to dig through snow and frozen earth to take a shot of a bulb only. Guess I'll wait another 2 months or so!

You are way ahead of the game with tulips already. I am so jealous. Love the details and the delicate colors.

The composition is really wonderful. The lighter & brighter colors in the center draw me right in. The pair of petal curves over the top is just right in a artful slightly asymmetrical way.

We're still melting snow here, but I expect Spring will arrive soon. I don't have any tulips in the yard, but I keep meaning to get down to the Zoo & Botanical Garden with a camera when their thousands of spring bulb flowers are in bloom. Thanks for the inspiration.

Sweet Sandy! In your garden???!!! I'm with jamie, but only half of what she has. Here we have nearly a foot of newly fallen heavy wet snow. We generally see the Snow Drops out now, but not now. Images of flowers captured in the privacy of our dining room!
