No comments about the male species from me...

Very nice behavioral shot. You could possibly bring out more detail on the underside dark areas with a bit more tweaking..
From here, needs a bit more sharpening.

Really like this flight pose with the wings outstretched Cheryl, also like the composition with the male leaving and the twigs. :toast: :toast:

Good shot with a 300mm. This is a personal nit but I always like to know where an image was made.

Cheryl, this is very nice. I like the great look at both birds with nice eye contact from both as well. Not as easy to do as it might seem. I like the depth created by the shadow play in this shot and I think there is plenty of detail in the shaded areas. I think you chose a good comp for this image. The steep angle may not be optimal for some, but it works here as the bird is looking down. Well done.

Very nice shot using the 300 mm lens. The perch, wing span and eyes look great to me, well done, a pleasure to view.

Cheryl,

I've photographed at that park too before boating over to Anclote Key.

I like the pose of both birds, the sky, and the old snag's character. I especially like the wing position of the male.
