This is a fascinating photo with great dynamic range. I really enjoy the way the light breaks through the clouds on the peak.

There are a lot of things going on here in terms of overall graphic composition, and then the little details like the cloud cover, the light on the mountain, the dead foreground trees, all add up to a great shot. My only TINY nit is that perhaps some parts of the base of the foreground trees are too bright, but thats getting really picky!

Excellent image with great tonal range from highlight to deep shadow, BW was well chosen.
Daniel Well done.

Love the light on the peak, great conversion. I haven't calibrated in a few weeks but I could see a little deeper blacks.

Ah so that's what it looks like without snow. Beautiful clouds and patchy light here. I like the FG snag too.

I love the composition. I too think the foreground trees are a bit too light. And, it's probably my monitor, but the whole tonal range seems a bit flat to me (could use some contrast).

I really like the composition here. The clouds look great, and I love the spot lighting on the mountain.
